Orthotic Fabrication
Despite their small size, your feet can be the source of big problems. Each step you take involves a remarkably intricate network of bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. This complexity—combined with all the weight your feet carry—accounts for why feet can be so prone to problems, including bone fractures, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, and other painful conditions. Left untreated, these issues can worsen and may interfere with your ability to do basic actions like walking and climbing stairs. If pain alters the way you walk, it can lead to pain and issues in your knees, hips, and back as well. The good news is that most foot disorders can be treated with physical therapy, and often, foot orthoses.

Custom Orthotic Inserts:
As mentioned above, foot orthoses (commonly called orthotics) are an appropriate treatment for many patients. They can be helpful in a number of ways:
- Putting the foot and ankle in better alignment
- Dispersing stress on the foot better during walking and running
- Helping cushion and support hypomobile (stiff or rigid) segments of the foot
- Helping stabilize hypermobile (overly mobile) areas of the foot
- Redistributing forces on the foot and ankle to alleviate pain
